Not a movie review

A few months ago I watched a very sweet, subtle movie which was way different from what we get to see these days. Recently I watched it again and thought should definitely share why this one is worth watching, especially if you like simple, realistic kind of cinema.

This one is not really a movie review, it’s just my perspective and nothing else. Some might love it , some might find the movie boring. The main essence of the movie was finding that right partner who is not only there in your good times but also in every part of what you do and enjoys what you like! The way it dealt with the topic along with food as an underlying part was amazing, the protagonist loves food, though most of us love food, but loving food in true sense is being able to sense all the flavours and eat what actually is flavourful not just eat for the sake of eating. The movie does have some comic timings related to the food and the way the lead behaves when he has food, was quite funny.

The story moves along the old roads and houses of Goa, the quaint beaches and houses with blue coloured doors gives the movie an aesthetic look and feel, with food and finding the right partner the script mixes all the flavours of a Bollywood drama without actually making it look like a drama!

Without giving out much and leaving the rest for you to find out, I’ll just share the name , it was released on one of the OTT channels, not sure if it was released theatrically as well. The name is- Tadka with Nana Patekar( veteran Hindi movie actor) and Shriya Saran (another amazing actress from the South Indian film industry) along with other amazing actors.

Tadka- means tempering, it is a method widely used in Indian cuisine, in which whole or ground spices are heated in hot oil or ghee and the mixture is added to a dish. (Source-Google).

Don’t force us to attend

This is a weird topic, in our city a lot is done on the ground of political links and to get votes for a certain party or group. So,to gain more such votes what does these groups do?They encourage people to put a tent or celebrate weddings/functions in any ground..grounds that are not even assigned for such occasions are encouraged by such parties or local parties ,this in return leads people living around such grounds to attend such functions forcefully:/

You must be wondering how,let me tell you..during such functions people play loud music and even if you wish or not you have to listen to stupid songs at loud volume forcefully.

I am not supporting or protesting against anyone.I am just expressing my discontent towards such unmonitored move..It’s high time such things are monitored and regulated as it’s not always that we want to listen to songs that too at loud volume and even at dead of the night.

Late night wedding party

Yesterday we attended one of our neighbour’s son’s wedding..and as it was a working day we reached the venue pretty late. But,in our country weddings usually extend till late night therefore,we weren’t very late:D

The food and ambience were good but we were in a hurry to rush back home as today again was a working day! Phew!!

We managed to reach home by midnight and it was a fun event as we met a lot of people that we hadn’t met for long and I also got to dress up which the first time in this year!!!So,it was a good one!

Great Indian Wedding

We are having a wedding in our society and the whole celebration reminds me of my wedding! So,in our country especially in North India wedding is not just a small family affair,it’s a huge thing..with celebrations extending up-to a week.

But,in all the noise and humdrum people having wedding in their family forget that there are other people too living in the vicinity..I have no issues in the DJ nights and mehendi nights (See image below) that we have (I too had it during my wedding),

but just for the sake of the society ,we should practice one thing -to not cause noise pollution among the celebrations..our celebrations should not cause disturbance to others..

Rest,I love Indian weddings, all the dance, songs, mehendi designs on hand and most importantly make up and dresses!!

So,if you haven’t been to a great Indian wedding try and attend at-least one function and try to be little sober if you are anyone organising a wedding;)

What the hell is your problem?

Yesterday all the speculations that India had about the wedding of the best batsman in the world(Virat Kohli) and Bollywood’s top actress (Anushka Sharma) came to an end as they tweeted about their dream wedding. They make a wonderful couple no doubt but why they flew away from their own home country and solemnised their wedding with just a few guests?

It’s because of their one fault that they are celebrities ,as cricket is almost worshipped in our country Virat obviously becomes a celebrity and the next worshipped category has film stars so Anushka ..but What the hell is your problem?

This must be the question that every celebrity asks when they are asked personal questions or their activities are traced. Why do they have to defend their weight gain or loss ,why can’t they fail in any movie .Why on everything they do they are trolled.?I am not defending any category of people or class I am just trying to put this issue up.

Ordinary couple yet made to be extraordinary:D

As am so pissed off with all the videos and stories behind Anushka’s makeup, attire, their venue and other festivities .This is so normal guys everyone who gets married goes through this entire scenario. All the brides look pretty on their wedding day!

So,why so much drama? Why are we analysing their assets are they going to give some assets to someone who estimates it correctly??No!Right so then what is the problem???Why can’t people just mind their own business and carry on with life!?

This mentality of poking heads into other person’s life is the most disturbing thing anyone can do and it’s not only about stars these days even normal people like us are questioned a-lot by some very worried uncles and aunties or some neighbors who don’t have anything else to do in life apart from match making or asking for some other unrelated couple’s plan of having a baby!!!

The thing that I have understood after all this hype is that no one else changes only we need to change ourselves. So if they are too pokey just be more secretive and enjoy their hard work in finding out secrets of your life😀😀

P.S: Just ignore things this is the best advice I can suggest
