Stories 📖

Since childhood I have been an avid reader,be it any genres I have enjoyed reading almost any kind of novel. Apart from textbooks ,novels with interesting stories formed an important part of my life during school and University.

But due to some or the other thing mainly involving job and different responsibilities, reading became a nostalgic thought ,limiting to just one or two novels a year.

Among many authors that I have cherished reading,an Indian author who is praised and loved by almost everyone -Rabindranath Tagore ,has been my favourite too and luckily I got to see his stories as a web series recently .

The trend of web-series these days is too addictive and especially if the topic and context is worth watching it becomes irresistible to switch off either phone/TV whatever the medium is.

I also realised that with time and experience our perspectives of taking any thing or story changes or even evolves so much, this happened with me today, though I didn’t complete the entire series but the stories I saw,(ones I had already read at some stage/phase in my life),took me through a different angle and honestly I loved reliving the amazingly written contents of Rabindranath Tagore!!

Walking down memory lane;)

Had an experience that led me to walk down memory lane..nostalgia covered me and I was elated!!It was a coincidence that I had a chance almost after a decade to go back on that trail..but some memories are so beautifully etched in your heart that if opened again they come to us as sweet fragrances:)

Restaurant/Food Review: Prankster-F&B Campus

This blog is a short review of a new and exciting restaurant that was explored in Sector 29 Gurugram (NCR) .It is an interesting concept based place ,if you are travelling from Delhi choose an afternoon slot as it might get late during the evening hours. It is the best place to relive your college days with the place segmented into classrooms, library, labs, canteen and an amphitheater all with projectors;) It is a place to be!!

You can try Nitri Dahi papdi ice cream (though the exciting part of nitrogen being poured has been banned due to some case in another restaurant)but the taste is pretty good. You can also try for lunch-Dal makhni and malai paneer the quantity is very good for a gathering of 5-6 people.Try onion parantha it is really nice. Pav bhaji comes with a twist and is worth a try.

Dahi papdi ice cream

Pav Bhaji Zinker with a prank

Malai Paneer

Dal Makhni

The rates are equally good and will not burn a hole in the pocket. For those looking for North Indian food and some good snacks but with a twist this place is a must.

Cuddling with nostalgia

I lost my favourite and very lucky watch..few weeks back, actually it’s not lost in the literal sense it is very safely kept somewhere in home but it’s so safe that I have forgotten where had kept it.Anyways ,so to find it I gathered courage to clean my drawers thinking that it might be hidden in somewhere ,but sadly I couldn’t find it.Though,I found myself cuddling and fiddling with old memories and nostalgia stuck!

I discarded a lot of trash and happily now the drawers can breathe!! I found a lot of old notes, tickets to places have been to and lot of restaurant’s bills ,etc etc..what really stuck me was how time flies..looking at some of those memoirs I tried and recollected that moment’s memory and felt really happy having thought of cleaning the drawer as I reconnected with someone I had lost with time and that is myself:D

In short,we just keep moving ahead in this fast paced life with our mundane and routine life ,there is not much space to think about the good times that we have had over the time,so give yourself some time and space and cuddle with the memories;trust me they will leave you coming back to this day much happier!!
